Mr. Vishal Jagdish Patel is an Indian politician of Indian National Congress from Depalpur INC MLA Vishal Jagdish Patel won Depalpur seat with decent numbers of votes He won first time in 2018 Madhya Pradesh Legislative Assembly election, Vishal Patel is the most popular person in Depalpur area and he always helps to needed peoples. Vishal Patel also is known as "Vishal Bhaiya" in Depalpur and won the 2018 Legislative Assembly Election with a phenomenal margin of 9748 votes.

Political career

Since many decades my parents and family members are working as congressmen for the development of people under the congress leadership. We have a strong and stable political as well as social base.

People of Depalpur were highly impressed by working style of my father when he was MLA of constituency. He proposed and executed various development projects in his constituency under the Congress leadership, I started working with my father and still I'm following his legacy and looking after socio-economic interest of the people of the constituency in particular giving special attention to SC, ST, OBC and Minorities. For this purpose, I organized youth of the constituency and formed the NGO “SANKALP” Reg. no 03/27/03/15098/12. Under the banner of SANKALP and congress many political and social events were organized such as Sadbhawna Rally, agitation against the misrule BJP government along with thousands of youth, route march of 250-300 kms. connecting 180 villages of the constituency to listen the grievances of people. • Sadbhavna rally organized in Indore with approx five thousand people
• Agitation against the misrule of BJP Government with thousands of Congressman
• Routh March covering all 184 villages of Depalpur constituency to make live contact with the villagers and listen to their grievances and made to solve some of their problems such as:
1. Road built in Ayodhya Basti of hoted and other villages.
2. Welfare funds given to Temples, Mosque and Gurudwara.
3. Blood donation camp Organized every year.
4. Oraganized eye camp for poor people.
5. Health check-up for kids and women in several villages.
6. Sports kit provided to rural youth of the constituency
• First all community marriage of 108 couples was organized by SANKALP on 6th November 2011 in Depalpur constituency in presence of more than 40000 peoples in presence of major congress leaders.
• Second all community marriage of 251 couples was organized by SANKALP on 24th November 2012 in Depalpur constituency in presence of more than 1 lakh peoples in presence of major congress leaders.
• Rejuvenation of water reservoirs and new Tube-Wells in several villagers of Depalpur.
• 12943 working members of SANKALP are from Depalpur assembly constituency.
Depalpur constituency has 2 lakh voters, out of which 29% voters belong to my community namely KALOTA (OBC). I am consistently working in the Depalpur constituency for the last 8 to 10 years for Depalpur development.
