[edit]- the stages of sonic emanation are described in uccara (utterance) [1]
- uccara: nada (resonance), nadanta (ending of the resonance), bindu (merge to a point), vyapini, samana, unmana [2]
- unmana is the stirring into existence of the transcendent [3]
- vyapini is the all-pervading energy [4]
- utterance (uccara) of hamsah reaches unmana [5]
- it is the union of Siva and Sakti that animates forward the movement from samana and vyapini towards manifestation [6]
- nada is a condensation of the supreme sound (spanda) [7]
- nada is the referential aspect of the word, while spanda is that which is referred to [8]
- nada is that which is left of the synthetic self-awareness when all differentiating thought disappears [9]
- nada is consciousness transcending the universe; it is unstruck (anahata), almost unmanifest; in it phonemes (varna) are not differentiated; [10]
- the phonemen of nada is the "unstruck" phoneme, that which never can disappear, perpetual vibration [11]
- nada is at the level of Sadasiva [12]
- nada signifies a subtle sound form [13]
- stages: sakti, nadanta, nada, nirodhini, bindu, ardachandra [14]
- nadanta is the end of nada, where sound merges into energy [15]
- nada is compared to the indistinct murmur of a brook [16]
- nirodhini is the level beyond which Brahma and the other gods do not go [17]
- nirodhini is associated to mantravirya and mantric dynamism [18]
- bindu - an important concept in the Indian philosophy of the word; energy collected into a single point; concentrated upon itself; with special potency [19]
- bindu is luminous, plays a role in the awakening of kundalini; [20]
- bindu is concentrated energy prior to its creating of diversity [21]
- bindu is a mass formed of the union of Siva and Sakti, a super energized form of the nondual energy [22]
- bindu is the threshold of duality, the last point of unity [23]
- bindu is preceded by ardhachandra, half-moon phase [24]
- the nectar of Siva is nada and Sadasiva [25]
- bindu arrises from kriyasakti [26]
- bindu in effect emits manifestation [27]
- bindu is luminous, a drop of energy and light [28]
- bindu is paraprakasa - the supreme light [29]
- bindu is associated to the level of isvara [30]
- after bindu comes division, a division in two - visarga; bindu is one dot, visarga is two [31]
- in bindu (M) fuse A and HA, forming the supreme mantra AHAM [32]
- the aspects of bindu are: bindu, of the nature of Siva, bija of the nature of Sakti and nada - their union [33]
- stages of uccara: PARA - unmana, samana, nadanta, PASYANTI - nada, MADHYAMA - nirodini, bindu, ardachanda, VAIKHARI - M, U, A [34]
- nada is the first condensation of paravak [35]
- nāda is the act of saying without any indication to what is expressed; a non differentiated statement; nadanta is the withdrawal of this statement [36]
- stages of uccara [37]
