Mookuthi Murugan is an Indian stage singer who is the title winner of Vijay Tv's Super Singer season 7. He is an unique performer who always comes in different get up to sing a song. He won a house which is worth 50 lakhs rupees sponsored by Arun Excello group of companies. Murugan was born and brought up in Sivadi village, Dharmapuri district. Murugan was also rewarded with a chance to sing in Indian youth music composer Anirudh Ravichander. Murugan is a countertenor where he can sing in male and female voices.

Early Life Murugan was actually a farmer. He also worked as Street Artist which is called as Theru koothu in Tamil. Murugan and his ancestors including his elder brother are Therukoothu artist. Murugan comes from a very poor family. He worked as paper delivery boy, goat shepherd and toilet pit plumber.
