Personal Life

Vinod T is the son of Late P P Bhaskaran and Mangala Bhaskaran. He was born in 1968 in a village "Amayur" in Palghat District, Kerala, India. He lost his father while he was 10 years old. His father was serving Indian Navy and was in the communication wing. Though not known to many, This was an inspiration to him and which has finally led him to pursue a career in Telecomunication. He has his roots at Pulamanthole, Malappuram district. His father hails from the family of traditional Ayravidya family.

He started his education at Milton English Medium School, Nugumbakam, Chenai and then on relocation to Vizag, joined Kendriya Vidyalaya Vizag. Further he has studied in Kendriya Vidyalaya - East Hill, Calicut, Kendriya Vidyalaya - Cochin Port Trust, Kendriya Vidyalaya - No:1 Cochin.

He has banked 25+ years of experience in Technology, Business-Marketing consulting, devising Strategy, Process Re-engineering.

Consulting / Mentoring Assignments: Engaged in business consulting & mentoring assignment’s in E-commerce, Digital, Education & Healthcare for SME’s & Startups.

Empanelment: Empaneled as SME( Subject Matter Expert) with ESSC-I ( Electronic Sector Skill Council of India), Advisory Panel member to HDA School of Design.

Started career in 1993 as an Engineer with Indo German Railway consortium for the prestigious Konkan Railway project (740 Kms - S&T & Fiber Optic Transmission Systems rollout). The exposure and involvement in this project inculcated professionalism, confidence and technical insight. In fact it was a springboard to venture into telecom domain.

He could join some of his dream companies in India like AEG- NGEF ( Presently GE Power controls), L&T, Tata’s. These brought in more maturity and taught the corporate systems, processes and Values.

Realization dawned upon that a mere engineering degree was not enough and thus decided to complete PGCHRM from XLRI to completely get moulded into a management professional. This was the inspiration to get into the Business functions and finally into the mentoring & entrepreneurial dreams.
