Pliosaurus giganticus Pliosaurus giganticus is the name given to the Monster of Aramberri by an anonymous young paleontologist. Pliosaurus is one of the largest of its genus, along with Predator X (Pliosaurus funkei) and Pliosaurus brachydeirus. Its length was estimated, originally, to be 18 m (66 ft) but now it is known to be about 11.7 m (38 ft) leaving Predator X the largest pliosaur known. Other scientists say that this giant could have grown up to be 15 m (48 ft) in length and 20 tons in weight.
This pliosaur is fairly unknown. It is known to have a skull twice the size of a T. Rex and had a bite force only matched by Pliosaurus funkei. Even the other pliosaur species could not have overtopped this predator in size. Most people know it as the Monster of Aramberri.
