Deana Martin
Deana Martin is a singer, actor and best-selling author. The daughter of the legendary Dean Martin, Deana grew up surrounded by her father’s friends, including Frank Sinatra and Sammy Davis, many of whom encouraged her as she entered the various phases of her career.
Deana’s CD “Volare” on Big Fish Records was in both the “Billborad” Top Jazz Albums chart and the “Billboard” Heat Seekers chart. Her previous album, “Memories Are Made of This,” was a top ten chart success for 40 weeks in 2006-2007.
The singer is also an author, with her best-selling book, “Memories Are Made of This: Dean Martin Through His Daughter’s Eyes.” It placed in the top ten on the “New York Times” chart in the U.S., U.K. and Australia. Discussions are underway for the book to be made into a movie.
Deana enjoys paying tribute to her father in her performances, often singing his well-known hits in her own performance style. She has played in performance halls including Caesar's Palace in Las Vegas, Paramount Theatre in New York, Harrah’s in Atlantic City, the Seattle Symphony Hall and The Sands in Macao!
As an actress, Deana has appeared in a variety of roles onstage including “Romeo & Juliet," "A Taste of Honey" and "The Star Spangled Girl." Movie roles take her from “Young Billy Young” and “Strangers at Sunrise.”
Deana is a health enthusiast, and in the 1980s and 90s, she developed the company Bodies by Deana, releasing a top-selling workout video, “The Deana Martin Total Body Workout.”
