Ben 10 is an American media franchise conceived by Man of Action, produced by Cartoon Network Studios, and owned by Warner Bros. Entertainment. It features the concept of Alternate dimensions, with each dimension having its own Timeline.

The classic continuity takes place in the Prime dimension with Original series taking place in 2005, Alien Force taking place in 2010 and Ultimate Alien and Omniverse taking place in 2011. The reboot continuity takes place in the Dimension 27998.3 with 2016 reboot series taking place in 2019. Thus, making both continuities canon events taking place in alternate dimensions.

The timelines are listed in the order of first appearance.

Overview

A total of 26 spatial dimensions were initially created at the beginning. Original future, Paradox's failure timeline, Time Heals timeline, Ultimate Alien future and Omniverse future were later branched off from Prime timeline due to the time travelling of Prime characters while, Reboot future was branched off due to the time travelling of Dimension 27998.3 characters. Out of total 32 dimensions, 31 has been appeared or mentioned in the series.

No Ultimatrix timeline – A timeline where Ben did not destroy the Prototype Omnitrix, and therefore never used the Ultimatrix, to defeat Vilgax during the events of The Final Battle: Part 2.

The beginning is common for all the timelines, after which they started branch off. The Contumelia are intelligent and seemingly wise beings, who used the Anihilaargh to create new universes from blank void as experiments. Maltruant time traveled to create his own universe with his own Anihilaargh but, was defeated by Ben and Rook from the Prime timeline.^[a] After this timeline branched off to form 26 spatial dimensions.

Earlier events

Azmuth and his ex-girlfriend Zennith were born in 230AD.^[b] Azmuth acknowledged about Zenith's departure after he finished creating Ascalon, which was later acquired by Sir George in 1131.^[b] In 1132, Azmuth started working on Untrix and Prototype Omnitrix during which Zs'skayr got trapped inside the Omnitrix.

Sir George was born in 231AD, who later acquired Ascalon from Azmuth and used it to defeat the Dagon by cutting out his heart in 1131. He later founded the Forever Knights in London 1132.^[b] They first arrived in the United States in 1920.

The Galactic Enforcers were founded in 1500, who then built the very first Intergalactic detention center named Incarcecon.^[c] Bellwood, the town where the Tennyson family lives and major events of the series takes place was founded in 1638 by a group of Sámi people. The Holiday Village was founded by Thomas Jingles in 1928.

In 1790, George Washington fought off supernatural beings with the soon-to-be-named Plumbers along with Ben and Rook from 2011 on their way to the beginning to defeat Maltruant.^[a] During which, Vilgax witnessed Ben using the Omnitrix which inspired him to hunt for the Omnitrix.^[a] Plumbers were later founded in 1800.
