Vesselin Stoykov (1951) is a Bulgarian, born and lived ever since in Sofia, Bulgaria.

He used to work in the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences where he got his Ph.D. on Optical Fiber Communication (1989).

Later he was a mayor of a Sofia district Krasno Selo (1991), a governor of Sofia (1997) and a chairman of the State Telecommunication Commission (1998) (The NRA is renamed as CRC).

Presently he is with ProSoft - a leading IT company in Bulgaria.

He likes to travel a lot. And likes surfing both at the seaside and in the net.

He is also fond of books and music and is a Delphi fan.

Lately he found out for himself the Wikipedia and added it to his interests.
