Mary Parker Follet had a younger brother, her parents were Charles Allen and Elizabeth Curtis (Baxter) Follett. They were of English-Scottish and Welsh decent. Thanks to an inheritance from her grandfather, (who was a banker), Marys theories as a social worker began by involving herself in community centers. By developing evening programs in public schools and vocational guidance programs, her lifes work and theories in group dynamics would be created. Her second book "The New State" which at the moment was a report as a social worker, turned into her center of attention. [1] Verduzco1987 (talk) 02:28, 15 April 2015 (UTC)
