About Me
[edit]My name is Samantha Venia Logan (online identity - Venia_Forvess).
I am an online community manager, virtual worlds anthropologist and full-stack marketer. I prefer to go by Venia, middle name. In online settings this also doubles as my "screen name."
I have been the co-owner and founder of 2 companies, each focused on building online communities; SociallyConstructed.Online[1], and RESCQU.NET[2]. Prior to this I worked with Trans Youth Channel, a youtube channel that would eventually become RESCQU.NET.
What I'm working on
[edit]As a community manager and full stack marketer I work with companies to join the online communities most relevant to them in a very different way then most marketers. I believe the most important thing any brand can ask when building a presence online is, "is my marketing to or presence in this community" going to hurt or help the wellbeing of the community?
