THE DRANOFF INTERNATIONAL TWO PIANO FOUNDATION
[edit]History
[edit]The Dranoff International Two Piano Foundation (formerly The Murray Dranoff Foundation) was founded in 1986 by Loretta Dranoff as a tribute to her late husband, with whom she performed as an intrenationally acclaimed two piano team. The Foundation's programs are devoted to the two-piano literature and the continuation of the renaissance of the masterpieces of this music. They provide a wide range of opportunities for professionals, students, and the lay audience to discover and experience the extraordinary music created for both the two piano and one piano (four hands) genres. The programs continue to expand, as local, national and international phlanthropic support and recognition increases.
