[edit]Turkan Ago Mausoleum is the first structure built by Amir Temur in Shahizinda. Shodimulk Ago, who died on December 29, 1371 at the age of 11, was buried in the mausoleum. Vyp. 1.1950 |page=46-48 |accessdate=September 2, 2023}}</ref>.
The mausoleum has patterns and inscriptions. In one of the inscriptions, the following words were recorded:
This is a garden of paradise, and in it is buried a great treasure. A precious jewel is hidden in this tomb. In it, sarvkad lies gracefully, so this place can be compared to heaven. Among these dead, although there was a seal of power on his ring, a man like Solomon disappeared smoothly[2].
Interior
[edit]The interior of the Shodi Mulk mausoleum is distinguished by its luxurious decorations. Covered from floor to dome with painted majolica and carved glazed terracotta. Majolica is combined with blue color. Under the mausoleum, in the basement, there are two burial chambers (not archaeologically studied) running from north to south. One, in the center of the mausoleum, dimensions – 2.5×1.2 m; the second, near the western wall, measures 1.5 × 3.6 m. The height of the rooms is about 1.3-1.4 m. After entering, the path along the corridor rises approximately 1.2-1.5 m. There are three or four steps at the entrance to the interior.
P.Zohidov informs in his research that the building was made by the above-mentioned craftsmen with glazed bricks, carved secret rivets, with a quiet pattern, tending to a sergilo turquoise color[3].
The names of the masters who built the building are preserved among the carvings and enamels on the peshtoq of Shodimulk Ago mausoleum in the form of "Amali Ustad Shamsiddin", "Amali Ustad Badriddin", "Amali Zayniddin binni Shamsiddin Bukhari".
