James Sutherland Drummond (2 September 1838 – 1 March 1882) was a British civil servant in British India.[1]

He was the eldest son of Edmund Drummond and the brother of Edmund Drummond. He was born in Blackford, Perthshire. His mother was Julia Mary Sutherland.

1857: Magistrate and Collector, 2nd Grade, Sylhet, Bengal, 17 Nov. 69. Furlough, 1872 bigger He worked for the Bengal Civil Service. James Sutherland Drummond died at Calcutta, 1st March. He entered the School in 1852 and was at the School House. He entered the Bengal Civil Service, and was for many years Magistrate and Collector at Purmah.
