Himari Yoshimura

Himari was born in 2011 in Tokyo in a family of musicians. Her father is a composer and her mother is a violinist.

Himari started playing violin at the age of 2. She entered her first competition at 4 and performed with an orchestra at 6. So far, she has entered 39 competitions and she has won 1st place in all of them.

Himari practices for 3 to 4 hours a day on school days and 6 hours when there’s no school.

Her interests also include sports and reading. She is fluent in English, which she learnt while travelling the world to perform.

Her goal is to study at Curtis Institute of Music.
