User:Useddenim/Toronto Transit Commission bus fleet
The Toronto Transit Commission bus fleet is the collection of transit buses owned and used by the Toronto Transit Commission for its bus routes in Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Current fleet
[edit]Surface
[edit]Most buses (aside from the 60 feet (18 m) articulated Nova LFS buses) are 40 feet (12.16 metres) long. All buses are used in local and express (including BRT) service and are equipped for wheelchairs..
Numbering of buses prior to 2013 used the same four-digit format as the TTC regular fleet. Starting in 2010, Wheel-Trans' newer buses used a numeric format starting with W and followed by three digits.
Some of the newer buses have started being repainted into the new LFLRV-inspired livery such as some NG HEV, NG Diesel, and the new 2017 Nova LFS buses.
