Experience -
I am a retired high school English instructor who currently serves as network administrator for the local public school district. How does one move from teaching English to managing a network? Simple arithmetic, I'm afraid: My checkbook balances better this way.

Persuasion -
I am unlikely to make substantial changes to existing wiki texts without a great deal of prior discussion. Occasionally, however, I may clean up the punctuation or grammar of an article to lend clarity or flow. Generally, I will try to maintain the original author's structure and voice unless I have permission from the author to make more substantial changes.
