I am a consulting risk engineer and academic with 43 years of experience.

As a risk engineer I have consulted in the field of risk identification, analysis and management in Australia, Thailand, South Africa, India, Saudi Arabia. This work has been done in private and Government industries and organisations, including power generation, transmission and distribution, deep and open cut mines, integrated steel plants, manufacturing and primary production.

As an academic, I have developed the field of risk (safety) science from the perspective of an engineer.
