C1orf232
[edit]C1orf232 or chromosome 1 open reading frame 230, is a human protein encoding gene that encodes for uncharacterized protein C1orf232. This gene is 4862 bps long, and encodes a protein that is 186 amino acids in length. C1orf232 has limited expression in human tissues with relatively high expression in the testist, and similarly lower expression in the brain, placenta, and thyroid. 174 other organisms have orthologs with this protein.
