Wikipedia SANDEEP TURKI Sandeep Turki (born on 8th of January, 1975, at Jammu-J&K) is an Indian Politician and Founder member and current National President of National Democratic Party (Indian) - NDPI. He is Science Graduate , who being self employed runs independent business in the field of Information Technology and is an educationist too, running an education hub. His Father “Chand Krishan Turki” is a social activist and educationist and was also an educationist who started education school in Srinagar and later on displacement started the same business in Jammu too. Both father & son provided free education to many under privileged students to help their poor families. Turki had an inner fire & zeal to serve the nation selflessly hence Joined NSUI, a student Political wing of “Indian National Congress” in the year 1993 as “Urban President” and started his political career serving the fellow students as a guiding force. In 1995 he was appointed “Secretary General” by the party high command being dynamic leader and a commendable worker who worked tirelessly for the betterment of the students and the party thereof. Being a hardworking, purely secular and a sincere human being he could not continue with the party due its biased & communal decisions and quitted the party and started working with the NGO “Indira Yuva Kendra” where he met the other like-minded Social workers Kuljit Singh, Rajan Kumar, Umesh Kumar Manhas. Early Life & Education: Turki was born in a middle-class educated family in Jammu, Jammu district, Jammu & Kashmir on 8 January 1975, the first of the two children of Chand Krishan and Asha Turki. His father was an Educationist. He was educated at SRML School in Jammu and at a Jagriti Niketan School at Jammu. He graduated from Gandhi Memorial Science College, Jammu. He started his own business in 2000 and later on also joined Indira Yuva Kendra as a Social Worker.

Pre-Political career: Sandeep Turki started his pre political career in an NGO as a social worker where he met like-minded fellow social workers namely Kuljit Singh, Rajan Kumar and Umesh Kumar Manhas, with whom he discussed about his zeal to serve the nation on a wider platform and hence decided to form a political party with them. Kuljit Singh a selfless self employed businessman who runs his snacks manufacturing business where he provided jobs to many educated/uneducated and poor aspirants as a social activist.

Rajan Kumar who is also a Science graduate and a self employed businessman doing business in the field of Information Technology and a social activist.

Umesh Kumar Manhas a Science Graduate, a Professional Accountant & a Selfless social worker . All the friends helped many downtrodden, poor students & families by providing them free academic as well as technical education and later also got some poor girls married, helping their families arranging food & related things and so on, according to their worth and the donations received. Political Career: During 2015 all the friends thought of expansion to widen the range of their helping hand and decided to launch a political party. Being new in the field it took two years to get the things arranged and applied for the party registration u/s 29A of the Peoples’ Representation Act with Election commission of India in the year 2016 with the help of other social workers joining in and it again took two long years to get the party registered finally on 10th of January’2019. All the four friends became core committee members of the party and decided to take part in Jammu Muncipal Corporation Election in October 2018. They took part in various political activities during this period in J&K State like Curbing corruption, Agitation on brutal attack on army convoy during Amarnath Yatra by militants and initiated the agitation on widely discussed minor rape & murder case at Rasana, Kathua through J&K State President Rajesh Gupta. Party formed State wings in the state of J&K, Delhi Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Maharashtra.
