The Irish Jewellery Company is an American jewellery brand based in Lynbrook, New York that was established in 2006 by Irish woman Slainté and her husband. The company promotes the jewellery from Irish culture that includes Irish Jewelry, Claddagh ring, Celtic cross, Celtic Jewelry and modern Irish gifts. In June 2016, The Irish Jewelry Company became a member of The North American Celtic Trade Association.[1]
Background
[edit]The company was founded in 2006 by Slainté of Ireland who is resident in New York City. Her husband helped her to establish the company in order to promote the Irish heritage through their combined 35 years of experience in the jewelry industry. Slainté stated that "Although we are based in the United States but we frequently visit our family home in Ireland and travel Europe discovering new product and spotting new trends. We are proud supporters of WLIW21, WFUV Celtic programming and The American Ireland Fund."[2]
