I was born in 1954 in the Govan district of Glasgow in Scotland and grew up in Paisley, Renfrewshire where I received my education at St Catherine's Primary School and St Mirin's Academy. After leaving school I matriculated at the University of Glasgow. In Scotland I have also lived on the Isle of Skye. Further afield I have lived in Leicester and London in England and Dublin and County Wicklow in Ireland. My current home is now Madrid in Spain. I have been contributing to Wikipedia since 2006.
