American Ethnography Quasimonthly is an English-language internet glossy, with content updated every month or two. Its major focus is a wide range of ethnography from and about the Americas (although the magazine operates with a loose definition of ethnography). The magazine has re-published historical texts from the fields of anthropology and sociology, but has also created new material, e.g. in the form of book reviews. It has been available to read free of charge since January 2008.
The magazine was created by cultural anthropologist Martin Hoyem, who is also the current editor and designer.
