Jonathan R. Smith founder of the Pro-audio & Multimedia Production Studio USAudio homed is creative studio production talents as the head producer for the three man production team of JJ&J signed to Washington, D.C’s first nationally and internationally recognized Go Go & Hip-Hop record company “I Hear Ya Records”.

During the late 70s through the 80s Smith was instrumental in shaping the sound of what would become Washington D.C.’s indigenous music known as Go-Go.

Smith produced music for virtually every notable Washington, D.C. Recording Artists and band, some of which include: The God Father of Go Go Chuck Brown, Experience Unlimited ((a.k.a E.U. best known for their hit “Da But” featured in Spike Lee’s movie School Daze)), Trouble Funk, Little Benny & The Masters as well as D.C. Scorpio (for witch Smith produced the tracks for the Emmy Award Winning Music Video “Stone Cold Hustler Part II). Smith also conceived, wrote and produced the controversial 1980s Go-G0 compilation album D.C. “Don’t Stand For Doge City” featuring all of the aforementioned artist.
