The Display Team is a six-piece band from London UK, playing music which has been described as 'Pronk'. Their music borrows from many genres, most notably rock, ska, punk, funk, doo-wop and metal.
Started in 1999[1] by a group of 4 musicians/school boys attending Crown Woods School in South East London, the band went on to enjoy underground success as a six-piece under the name 'Mumrah'[2].
The band changed their name to The Display Team in 2006 when another band with the similar name Mumm-ra signed to Sony in late 2005 and enjoyed chart success and notoriety[3].
