Biography

[edit]

I was born in Manhattan and raised in the riverside village of Cold Spring, New York. In my later childhood, I spent the schoolweek in various cities in Dutchess County (including Beacon and Poughkeepsie) and weekends at my father's apartment in Manhattan, first in Lenox Hill and later Turtle Bay. I like to joke I was raised by the Hudson Line. I was housing insecure at various points in my childhood which has greatly influenced my outlook.

I graduated from Arlington High School in 2021. Simultaneous to my attendance of high school I was awarded college credit from Rochester Institute of Technology and took classes at Dutchess Community College in engineering and computer science respectively.

I attend Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts where I currently live. I am majoring in Computer Science and Political Science. I am a dues-paying member of the Democratic Socialists of America, the Working Families Party, and the Young Democrats of America.

I am quite a casual editor; my interests range pretty wildly and include politics, history, genealogy, transit, urban policy, and submarines.

To do

[edit]
  • Secession Referendum Maps: Some states in 1861 held referendums on whether to secede from the Union or not. I am working on mapping out county-level results of these votes and creating pages for the secession ordinances.
  • Presidential Primary Overhaul: Working towards consistency between all primary election pages since 1976.
