Hello. I am a novice to editing Wikipedia, but I have long believed in Wikipedia's message of making information about anything available to everyone.

While I greatly respect the rigor of Wikipedia's guidelines and the seriousness that most editors take them, their interpreted enforcement by other editors has been a repeated setback and discouragement to me really being a contributor beyond correcting typos and adding hyperlinks. Forgive me for not being more enthusiastic about the prospect of sinking hours of my time into writing what I think is a well-written section within the scope of Wikipedia, only to have it swiftly deleted. I'm not bitter, just demotivated to continue trying to contribute. I'm glad others have the patience for it, though.
