Lu Pikir La, Nabil! is a Malaysian short animated series created by Nabil Ahmad, and published by Ed-Online Technologies Sdn Bhd and ASTRO. The series tells the story of a child named Nabil who is full of fantasies, stories of friendship, as well as the chaos of the villagers ’temperament. It was published on the YouTube channel MeleTOP. The concept of this animation takes the background of Nabil village, namely Kampung Kayu Ara, Mambau, Negeri Sembilan. It also highlights local dialects as key dialogue mediators. The names and characters in this animated series also take inspiration from Nabil’s childhood life.
Starting March 2022, the animated series can be viewed on a special YouTube channel Lu Pikir La Nabil with the emergence of the second season, and new characters. It can also be watched on TV starting March 12 every Saturday at 3pm at Astro Ceria, Every Sunday at 3pm at Astro Prima & 7 April every Thursday at 10pm at Astro Warna.
