Lama Gelek Gyamtso is a Lama of the Tibetan Nyingma Buddhist tradition born in Nyarong in eastern Tibet 1962. He is a student of Tsopo Dorlo Rinpoche and of Khenpo Akhyuk Rinpoche. Lama Gelek took the Khenpo title of scholarly studies with Khenpo Achuk. He also completed two successive 3 year retreat in strict Dzogchen meditation, al together sitting some 10 years in solitary retreat.
