Dr. David Tuffley is a Lecturer in Applied Ethics and SocioTechnical Studies at Griffith University's School of ICT. Before academia, David was a consultant in the IT industry working in Australia and the United Kingdom. David's research interests include the social impact of technology, ethics in IT, leadership of knowledge workers and the process of creativity and innovation.
David came to the world of technology from the Humanities, having studied Psychology, Anthropology, Classical Rhetoric and English literature as an undergraduate at the University of Queensland. David is an engaging public speaker and forum moderator.
David's formal qualifications include PhD (Software Engineering), Master of Philosophy (Information Systems), Grad Cert in Higher Education (all of the preceding from Griffith University), Bachelor of Arts majoring in Psychology, English Literature, Anthropology (University of Queensland).
