Nik Hafiz Naim Nik Hassan (born 23 Febuary 1976) is a Malaysian investor and entreprenuer. He is a founder of Skygear Berhad[1] and Co-owner of football team[2], TRW Kelantan FC also known as The Red Warrior. He also are Chairman of Nikabina Group of Companies. He involved in many range of business especially investment, property, fashion, education and others.

Early life and education

Nik Hafiz was born in Kelantan on 23 Febuary 1976. His late father, Nik Hassan Nik Yaacob is a well known property developer in Kota Bharu, Kelantan. His mother, Kamalriah Mohd Yunus is a housewife. After his father died, she become entreprenuer and now she is chairwomen of Kalam Khalifah Group. At a young age, he would follow his father for business trip and get his early business education from him.

Nik Hafiz began his education at Sekolah Kebangsaan Kubang Kerian. Starting at age 10, he was transfered to Sekolah Kebangsaan Ismail 2 in Kota Bharu. After UPSR at age 13, he moved to Sekolah Menengah Ahmad Maher in Kota Bharu. He got good grades in SRP and was offered to studied in Sekolah Sains Faris Petra boarding school in Pengkalan Chepa. Then he studied Degree Civil Engineering in University Putra Malaysia. After that he studied IT in University Tun Abdul Razak UNITAR.

Nik Hafiz married to Rasyidahnur Abdul Rashid, the two having met in UPM.

Career

Nik Hafiz first job was a Site Supervisor under his father company Nikabina Development Sdn Bhd. He quit after one year to opened his own company.

Business

Nik Hafiz founded Nikabina IT MSC Sdn Bhd in 2001. He and couple of his friends opened Nikabina IT while studied in UNITAR in Kota Bharu. He was passion about IT that time after internet boom in 2000. Nikabina IT was awarded MSC Status by Malaysia Digital Economy Corporation MDEC in 2003 and moved Nikabina HQ to Kuala Lumpur.

Nikabina IT MSC Sdn Bhd was very successful IT and telecommunication company and had done alots project around the world. Some of Nikabina IT notable client is Telekom Berhad, Sapura Berhad, Kelantan State Government, Ministry of Health MOH and MISC Berhad. International client Comptel Corp in Finland, Axel Inc in US, Aktel and WorldTel in Bangladesh, PT Excelcomindo in Indonesia and many more.

2002 Nikabina IT helped Kelantan State Government to set up online donation site for Tabung Serambi Mekah. The online donation site was first online donation site in Kelantan and launched by late Tok Guru Nik Aziz Nik Mat Menteri Besar Kelantan.

2004 Nikabina IT MSC was appointed as consultant to UMNO and Barisan Nasional to assist for Malaysia General Election or PRU on telecommunication and IT solution.

2015 Nik Hafiz opened Restaurant Niarasa in Saujana Utama in Sungai Buloh. The restaurant moved to Setia Alam in 2018 and closed after 5 years after COVID started in Feb 2020.

2021 He founded Skygear a fashion brand company in middle of COVID. Skygear Berhad is aiming to be of leading fashion brand companies in Malaysia.

Investment

Nik Hafiz is an active investor and invested in range of business from food to healthcare. He also invested in football, stock market, real estate, film production, gold and cryptocurrency.

Football

Nik Hafiz start involved in football in 2022 after invested 3 million ringgit in TRW Kelantan FC Berhad or The Red Warrior.[3][4] He became the Co-Owner of TRW beside Norizam Tukiman or Zamsaham.

TRW had a rough year in 2023 and delegated from Liga Super. After that, TRW tried to get licensing for A1 League from AFL but not successful .In 2024 The Red Warrior is out from the Malaysian Football League.[5]

Gerakan Selamatkan Kelantan FC

Nik Hafiz and TRW Kelantan FC Berhad investor created a movement called Gerakan Selamatkan Kelantan FC[6]. GSK main objective is to save and rebuild The Red Warrior team[7].
