Hello - I am a high technology marketing leader who knows how to knife-fight while running a highly professional marketing operation. I have over 19 years of experience in disruptive marketing at some of the most innovative software technology companies in the world.
Prior to Act On, I led marketing for BigFix, where my cutting-edge use of social media and guerilla campaigns were widely recognized in the industry. During my tenure, BigFix grew at an annual 40% year over year rate before being acquired by IBM for $400m in 2010.
Before BigFix, I had my own consulting firm which included Salesforce.com and several other pre-IPO companies as my clients. I also held senior marketing positions at Autonomy, Informix, Oracle, and Borland.
I am a graduate of Vassar College, Poughkeepsie NY with a degree in Soviet Studies - art, literature, history, and language during the Bolshevik period of the Russian Revolution.
In my spare time I am a jam-band musician, painter, and gourmet chef. And enjoy nothing more than spending quality time with my wife and our 4 cats.
