Rahmakhan Todd Turnbow (born February 23, 1967), AKA King Sun, is an American rapper from Paterson, New Jersey. His debut in 1987 "Hey Love" produced D-Moet, peaked at #69 on the US Billboard Hot R&B/Hip-Hop chart. King Sun signed to Zakia Records and Profile Records in 87'. His first full length album, XL, was released in 1989. King Sun's sophomore album, Righteous But Ruthless, was released in 1990. "Righteous..." reached the Top R&B/Hip-Hop Albums which reached to #54. It would be his last release from Profile.
The single "Sippin' Brandy" on Money Bag Records, Inc was released in 1992 after which he then signed to Cold Chillin' Records. His next release which was an EP in 1994 was called Strictly Ghetto. King Sun's third album, Say No More, released in 1999. This was followed by another EP Heat 4 da Streets in 2002.
