Reasons I joined Wikipedia:
1: I enjoy being able to help people, be it by editing an article with updated information, talking about topics relating to those things which I comment and edit (chiefly animation, puppetry and children's television, as they're the things I feel most confidently that I can get accurate, though I am always accepting of corrections, additions, and overall anything to make what I edit as factually accurate as possible.
2: To satisfy my own curiosity. For example, I had asked in the talk section of an article for the children's network Noggin about the transition to Nick Jr, just because I found it subconsciously strange, as well as to gain information on two music videos I've seen for the cartoon series "What's New, Scooby-Doo?", which were featured on a DVD I had a long while ago, but haven't found on the internet.
Also, if anyone wants to make an edit or removal of something I edit in an article, I don't mind so long as it's more factually accurate than what I said.
If anyone has an article on a children's series (preferably a series that aired in English, he it a dub or native, no offense,) I'm willing to help, though I hope I'm not particular in saying that I think animation or Henson productions (or television networks and blocks for children) would be a bit of a better topic, but I'll help with any if I know any information.
I kinda want to be as much of an everyman (but not in an egotistical way. In a helpful one) as I can, when it comes to (mainly children's) television, history (mainly American if that's unbiased), films, and maybe even videogames, even though I think I know more facts about children's television than videogames. Sorry if anything said sounds egotistical or selfish.
