My name is Dave Smith and I am based in Trinidad and Tobago.

I am a trade union organiser currently working as General Secretary of the National Workers' Union and I also do some part-time lecturing at the University of the West Indies in industrial relations.

I've gradually got more involved in the Wikipedia:WikiProject Organized Labour and am concentrating on updating entries on trade unions in the Caribbean and the UK in particular.
