Mod Sun
Mod Sun stands for Movement On Dreams Stand Under None. Mod Sun is 24 year old Dylan Smith from Minnesota. He makes music called "Hippy Hop" It's not rap, and it is not hip-hop. Hippy-Hop is all about being positive. Dylan used to play drums in a band called [Letter Lie] and [Scary Kids Scaring Kids] He has been playing music seriously since he was 14. He got his 1st guitar when he was 9. The Band Four Letter Lie was signed when Dylan was 18. He enjoyed touring and performing but he wanted to say something to people. When he was on tour he would just free style and soon people were telling him he should record.
Mod Sun is not signed. He started off recording "I'll Buy Myself" in his room. All 11 songs were produced by him and all the beats were made by him. He now records at his studio "Blooming Sounds" in Minnesota.
Mod Sun has toured with bands like [|The Summer Set][|Breathe Carolina ] [|Johnny Craig ]
Mod Sun releases all of his music for free. Bob Dylan is his biggest influence and he was influenced by [|Hanson] when he was younger.
