Chester R. Longwell (15 October 1887 – 15 December 1975) was an American geologist whose work clarified the geology of the Great Basin area. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army in World War I and taught at Yale.Cite error: A <ref> tag is missing the closing </ref> (see the help page).
