Murdovia Globex Development, LLC
[edit]From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Murdovia Globex Development, LLC is a multinational corporation primarily funded by the Eastern European country of Murdovia. MGD is known for purchasing wilderness property in other countries, razing and paving the space, and building commercial enterprise ventures.
History
[edit]Further information: History of Murdovia
Murdovia Globex Development, LLC (MGD) was founded in 1991 after the end of Communist rule. Some of MGD's previous undertakings include:
- Purchasing dozens of acres of old-growth forest in Faartoslakia under the guise of shell corporation. After selling the lumber rights to Famous Dave's, MGD destroyed a longstanding summer camp to build a strip mall that included a Rainforest Café, a Sears, a Circuit City, and an exact replica of the Mall of America, built to a 7/8 inch scale. Later plans for a WWE Hall of Fame museum were abandoned, and a balsam-wood derby car racing facility was built in its place.
- Gaining a majority on the board of Rurtland National Parks system, primarily used for summer camps. MGD sold vast stretches of the park land, igniting a bidding war between Dollar Tree and Family Dollar that has since been connected to several suspicious deaths.
- Forging a will for the estate of Borgralian billionaire and summer-camp patron Murgus Vulgar, resulting in the transfer of Vulgar's 30-acre wetland property in the wilds of Borgralia to MGD. MGD then built a Babies 'R' Us, a Buffalo Wild Wings, and 200 pole buildings to store AOL discs.
Criticism
[edit]MGD has been criticized by the Forest Stewardship Council, Environmental Defense Fund, and Greenpeace. MGD is also being sued by eleven sovereign nations for placing "undeclared intelligence officers" of the Murdovian government at summer camps to gather intelligence on vulnerable natural spaces to purchase or gain by other means.
