Unlike membership lists at wiki-projects where joining the list is merely an expression of interest, our volunteer list is a "hot list" which helps us evaluate how many folks we can call upon when a backlog such as this occurs and whether we should hold a volunteer drive to attract new volunteers. If you have not taken a case at DRN in the last few months and do not realistically intend to do so in the immediate future, it would be very much appreciated if you would remove your name from the main volunteer list at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard/Volunteering#List of the DRN volunteers to the inactive volunteer list at Wikipedia:Dispute resolution noticeboard/Volunteers#Inactive volunteers. Editors on the inactive volunteer list will not receive messages such as this one.
