Account Creation
[edit]I created an account specifically to help Eric Powell create an informational page for his band 16 Volt. As a member of the street team, he and a moderator of his site had requested that the rest of the street team contribute to the building on a Wikipedia page to help spread knowledge of 16 Volt. This was done in hope that more people would become informed with the band and help bring fans a little closer to Eric himself.
Since creating an account, I have also helped edit some pages for other bands, such as Isis. Since I am still technically new at editing/creating Wikipedia pages, I am prone to syntax errors and have been called upon to make some of those changes. Should at any time you realize that I am in err, please feel free to let me know and I will do what I can to make the required changes.
Personal Information
[edit]I'm an IT Assistant at a non-profit agency which provides for affordable housing. Essentially, I troubleshoot applications, systems, networks, and anything that plugs into an outlet or requires batteries. It is a job that I fully enjoy, as I am providing for the providers, people who help give back to the community that I am now a part of. I also do some outsourcing for friends, working on simple Windows proplems to complex networking issues with homes and businesses. Mostly, I work for free because they are friends, but occasionally my work is "officially" requested.
Hobbies and Interests
[edit]I'm a gamer, plain and simple. Lately, I've created my own online blog ([1]), where I review games for the Xbox 360. I began this endevor due to the lack of decent reviews out there. Since the entrance of the recent next-gen consoles, it is my feeling that gamers have become lazy, wishing for things to be done for them. This has caused a lot of games to be much easier to complete and also leading to absolutely horrible plots/story lines. Many of the reviews I read about are complete against my own views, hence my own blog.
I'm a big fan of the [[Red_sox | Boston Red Sox], Boston Bruins, and Houston Texans. Enough said there.
I also have been playing disc golf for a number of years. Unfortunately, there are not a lot of courses in New England. When I used to live in Texas, I had unlimited resources. That being said, I do not get out to a course enough, as my disc are collecting dust.
