T.P.Ramachandra Menon:

Shortly known as TPR Menon, he was born to Sri.Ullattil Govindankutty Menon and Thiruvali Perumbilavil Jayalakshmi Amma (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jayalakshmi_Amma) in an aristocratic family in the family of Thiruvali Perumbilavil in Sathyalayam House, Thottekkad, Pulpatta Village, Manjeri in Malabar. He had one sister who was Kamalam who was married to Kodompatta Puthenveettil Velayudhan Nair.

The earlier years of Mr.Ramachandra Menon was dedicated to communist movement which was the undivided party at that time. Later Mr.Ramachandra Menon underwent teacher's training and became a school teacher. He has a very important role in developing a village library in his village "Pulpatta" which is in Ernad Taluk, Manjeri in Malappuram District.

Later he married, quiite a rovlutionary one which was an intercaste marriage. Both Mrs.Radha Menon and Mr.Ramachandra Menon moved in to Kozhikode and both continued their careers as school teachers.

Later, Mr.Menon started his own company M/s.Bombay Chemicals, in partnership with Mr.Radhakrishnan Nair which was quite successful. Mr.Menon had a cerebral haemoorhage in the year 1987 which he survived and he underwent treatment at the famous Vaidyamadham Oushadhasala in Thrithala, in Palakkad District treated by Sri.Cheriya Narayanan Namboothiri.

Unfortunately, Mr.Menon died in the year 1997, almost ten years after the first stroke, due to a fatal stroke. He is survived by his wife, Mrs.Radha Menon and his sister's children Venugopal, Mohandas, Raghunath, Sujatha and Jayachandran.
