Here are essentially my thoughts on some Wikipedia essays and rules. And maybe some actual rants.

Participated in AfD for the first time in 3 years. Feeling great, and I feel like returning back to the fold would be wonderful. I don’t have much to do in real life except regular homework, and desktop mode for the iPad works just fine when I’ve got a keyboard (albeit, not a good one, but it works).

I’m happy - and I’ve changed from being a cynic. Let’s keep this going. Will have to move from recent changes patrolling to AfD primarily, however, as I’m slowing down a little on the trigger.

I'm bored again, let's go. I think I'm not done yet, plus - since I can only edit on a laptop - I can finally compete in automatic regards.

Hopefully, this sparks a trend of more positive rants rather than my usual vitriol.

2/13/20 - Maybe My Last

I figure it's not worth it anymore, fellas.

The site's a shithole, and experience is thrown into garbage like it never mattered.

ArbCom causes members to retire or completely diminish their activity if they get hit, because when they get hit by a case there's no purpose in continuing with that kind of black mark against your record.

If someone reads this, well, you know what I think.

If nobody reads this, then I won't be surprised.

Thanks to everyone who tries to be nice on this website. I appreciate it.

I appreciate what y'all have done for me. Despite what I say, it gave me something to do.

1/14/20 - The First Of The New Year

Well, shit. I went inactive again.

Does it matter? Not really. I am getting progressively more tired of the constant combative attitudes shown at ARC, ARE, ANI, and AN. The worst part is: nobody wants it to change.

As usual. Nothing is new to me here anymore.

Hm. I think it’s time to talk about IP editors.

Certainly a lot are constructive. Certainly a lot are also vandals. Both statements are true.

However, admins tend to extend the arm of the law that they control and ban addresses that cover many people - especially in a school setting.

Seeing the “you’re blocked” message is disheartening for many and contributes to what I think to be a huge loss of contributors on public WiFi connections.

Certainly one could make an account. It is a long, drawn-out process when you are blocked, though. You have to prove that you will be constructive. As I once did.

So - to summarize this short rant - long, multi-year blocks of public IPs, esp. school IPs, are unreasonable. A week block deters most vandals, as they get bored of not being able to vandalize our site, and - with the stress and work of school - they quickly forget.

And that’s all he wrote.

It’s been a while. A ‘’long’’ while.

About 1 or 2 months since I last interacted with this community.

Maybe, one day, someone will notice the work I and other anti-vandalism users do.

We keep the site in condition until we’ve finally had enough and quit (or switch objectives). IPs and vandals get struck down immediately because of our diligent work - yet we receive nothing more than a pat on the back. Nobody recognizes us.

I hope to see that change happen.

Personally, WP:NOLY is raw stupidity.

Oh, so someone who competed at this random Olympic Games section is immediately notable? Even though they didn't place for shit and didn't get any medals? They're still notable? Cool. I personally think you must obtain a medal to be recognized with a Wikipedia article.

10,500 people were in the 2016 Olympics in Rio. Is it important that each and every man get recognized? No, it is not.

Thereby, why are people telling others that people from the 1984 Olympics (which had 6,829 athletes) in LA are important? Each and every one of them? What inherently makes them notable?

I rest my case, until someone tells me how some lad from the 84 and 88 Olympics is important because he competed, even though he did shitty and is one in thousands of people.

Now, logically, why does WP:UNBLOCKABLE need to exist? Its existence on this site is worrying, as it shows a deep level of corruption in some of the admins.

While I hold a high level of respect for many of them, when it comes to blocking a long-standing editor, there's petty squabbling over things that, if I posted, I would get indeffed for. Very quickly, in fact.

My stance on ANI and the rest of the drama boards is that they shouldn't exist. People should want to feel welcome in Wikipedia. ..And y'all wonder why retaining editors is so hard when the experience is more toxic than the goddamn Elephant's Foot.

Fuck toxic environments.

god, i'm so tired of this website.

i've seen so many people with their heads stuck so far up their own ass that it's hardly even funny anymore to read.

all there is, to me, is just ignorance, false blocks, and more people assuming "hur dur you didn't do a thing corectly time to template your ass into the ninth cirlce of hell haha xd funny"

while i admit some people are better than others (like most of the admin team, they do their job well) so many others have just so little respect for others on this platform made of COMMUNITY GOD DAMN COLLABORATION that i don't understand how this place even functions on a day-to-day basis.

i know this won't get seen. that's my entire life story here. just one of the million other anti-vand users that go entirely unappreciated.

but god damn do i have to say something before i just quit altogether.

what's funnier is that old "Super Mario" effect everyone and their grandmother hates hearing about, but exists so much.

you edit as a new user a bit badly? get indeffed per nOtHeRe. edit as an admin/ext. confirmed like i am? ehh, give them a slap and let em go do the same thing again. and again. and bloody again. nothing ever changes.

and if you're someone with even more advanced perms like, say, steward? you might as well goddamn be Super Sonic because stewards are more close together than me and permanently leaving this site. anyway, have fun. i'm gonna go revert some vandals and report them to aiv because that ALWAYS works.
