Elizabeth Lyding Will (born 1924; died Aug. 19, 2009, in Amherst, Massachusetts) was a leading authority on Greek and Roman amphorae.[1]
Will was trained as a Classicist at Miami University (B.A.) and Bryn Mawr College (M.A. and Ph.D.) where she wrote dissertation on Homeric Enjambement in 1949.[2]
Will was Thomas Day Seymour Fellow at the American School of Classical Studies at Athens (1950-1951).
