Rachel Power
Rachel Power (born July 8, 1982) is a politician in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. She is a Green Party of Ontario Candidate in the Toronto-Danforth riding. She has volunteered for the Green Party of Ontario since 2010 and was nominated to run in 2014.
She attended Durham College in Oshawa, Ontario and holds a Marketing and Business Degree. Prior to her position with the Green Party of Ontario, Power was the Program Supervisor at Centennial College's School of Communication Design and taught multiple courses between 2011 - 2014.
She is the current editor for LifeLines, a magazine created by the Toronto Vegetarian Association. From 2008 - 2014, Power has worked on multiple campaigns for; Canadians for the Ethical Treatment of Farm Animals, Canadian Coalition for Farm Animals Canadian Coalition for Farm Animals], Help the Pigs, the Toronto Vegetarian Association, Nellie's Shelter for Women and Children, The Epilepsy Foundation.
