Li Xiuling' (born December 1962), male, Han, JiangsuTongshan, People's Republic of China politician. Graduated from Department of History, Nanjing University majoring in history, received a postgraduate degree in Nanjing University majoring in world, regional and national history, and obtained a Ph.D. degree in history.

Life

Joined the Communist Party of China in February 1984. After graduating from the History Department of Nanjing University in July 1984 with a bachelor's degree in History, he stayed at the school to teach and served successively as an assistant teacher, lecturer, associate professor, political counselor, and deputy general party branch of the Department of History at Nanjing University. secretary. From February 1993 to November 1996, he studied as a postgraduate student in the Department of History at Nanjing University, majoring in world, regional and national history, and obtained a doctorate in history.

In March 1997, he served as deputy director of the Hainan Provincial Foreign Affairs Office (Department of Foreign Affairs and Overseas Chinese Affairs). In August 2000, he served as Director of the Consular Section of the Hainan Provincial Foreign Affairs and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office. In December 2001, he served as deputy director of the Hainan Provincial Foreign Affairs and Overseas Chinese Affairs Office. In July 2002, he served as deputy director of the Policy Research Office of the Hainan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China. In May 2003, he served as deputy secretary-general of the Hainan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and director of the Policy Research Office (concurrently since December 2003). In May 2007, he served as Secretary of the Communist Party of China Wanning City Committee.

In February 2011, he served as deputy governor of Hainan Provincial People's Government[1]. In March 2012, he served as member of the Standing Committee of the Hainan Provincial Committee of the Communist Party of China and director of the Organization Department of the Provincial Committee[2]. In August 2012, he concurrently served as Secretary of the Education and Work Committee of the Hainan Provincial Committee[3].

In October 2016, he served as deputy secretary of the CPC Yunnan Provincial Committee[4]. On February 24, 2018, he was elected as a deputy to the 13th National People's Congress[5]. In January 2019, he was appointed Secretary of the Party Leadership Group of CPPCC of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region[6]. On January 29 of the same year, he was elected chairman of the CPPCC Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region[7].

In January 2023, he was transferred to the position of Party Secretary and Director of the Beijing Municipal People’s Congress Standing Committee Party Leadership Group Secretary and Director[8].
