Wiki Newbie Reporting In
[edit]Hello, and welcome to my home page. As a newbie editor, I have made a few edits here and there, also created a few pages.
My interests are mainly in the areas of world news, science & tech, company history, movies, and pop culture.
I can read and write in English, Mandarin Chinese (Simplified) and Malay.
For me, Wikipedia has a very steep learning curve.
- There are literally thousands of rules and guidelines for making Wikipedia edits
- Copyright, plagiarism and conflict of interest issues are constantly lurking in the shadows, waiting to jump on you
- The user interface is not the most user-friendly out there :)
- You're on your own, and they kinda expect you to figure out everything yourself
After a 1-year hiatus, I'm back. Still trying my best to learn the ropes. I'm currently learning how to paraphrase here
I have recently taken an interest in WikiProject Companies and WikiProject Malaysia.
