Mostly I use Wikipedia as a first reference. Sometimes I correct spelling, move a comma, or input some unique knowledge. When I've a few moments to spare, I sometimes wander the stacks.
These days my primary interest is the development of the .nyc TLD - like .com and .org but just for New York City. I advocate for its development as a public interest infrastructure, with its governance my key focus (January 2010). See connectingnyc.org for more.
