Hi!

My name is Tom Hartung and I live in Denver, Colorado, USA. I am a retired computer programmer who has a Masters in Interdisciplinary Studies Degree. I used to work with Assembler, Cobol, Unix shell scripting, PHP, Java, a bit of Javascript and of course HTML and many other related tools. Now I am taking a break from all that to listen to music during the day and watch videos in the evenings.

My initial goal here at Wikipedia is to improve the pages for recent Grateful Dead releases, specifically Dick's Picks and Dave's Picks by adding descriptions of the enclosures and liner notes that accompany the releases.

At some point, I hope to resume working on my art project, which involves drawing images of personalities. That is a long story and realizing my nascent plans for improving what I've already done will take years of work. Moreover, after over fifty years in the workforce I am in no rush to return to the Culture of Productivity.

Right now, I am focused on the short term: surviving the Covid pandemic and thinking about how I might represent personalities using insight gleaned from the Jungian archetypes, the Big Five personality traits, and Enneagram models of personality. Hmmmm, that's a lot to think about!

In the meantime, I'll be listening to my vast collection of Grateful Dead shows, reading the enclosures and sharing some tidbits about them, and watching movies and tv series with characters who have interesting personalities. Crime and historical dramas with characters who have ambiguous morality are my favorite!
