This is the Wikipedia page of KC2SJM I am a licensed ham(amateur radio)operator in the USA. which I’m licensed by the FCC, a government agency in the USA. I’ve been licensed for over 14 years. I talk on the following bands, 10 meters, 2 meters,etc. if you’d like to follow me online you can find me on Twitter at the account @kc2sjm. our job as a amateur radio operator is to help people in emergencies and natural disasters. We can work along with and help the Red Cross, fire rescue and ambulance services,etc as well. I have taken part in the Red Cross mock emergency drill back in 2009 as a radio relay person passing a important messages along to a family of a loved one who was in danger. Received a certificate saying I completed the mock drill. So we can be used in many ways to help the public when need be.
