I am a patent attorney and I have been for about 11 years. Studied law at Franklin Pierce Law Center and electrical engineering at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. I primarily focus on electrical, software, and mechanical technologies. The most enjoyable part of my job is the opportunity to learn about new and different technologies and explain them to the US Patent Office. I use Wikipedia to help supplement my base of knowledge as I get up to speed in various fields.
I am a father of four. Safe to say the job and the kids dominate 90% of my waking life, whether it is helping with homework, youth sports, reading to the little ones, or just corralling them to give my wife some peace.
I am a volunteer for the Boys & Girls Club of Greater Nashua. I believe in the proverb that it takes a village to raise a child. Our Club helps the kids develop good character, decision-making skills, leadership skills, and an understanding of healthy living that provides better lives for each of them.
