E-Z Pack Manufacturing, LLC, is a manufacturer of refuse truck bodies based in Cynthiana, Kentucky. The company makes front loader, rear loader and side loader garbage truck bodies and assembles them on bodies of leading Class 8 truck chassis manufacturers. In addition, E-Z Pack is a provider of parts and supplies to the waste hauler industry. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of Republic Financial Corporation, a privately held investment company. In November 2009, E-Z Pack played a pivotol roll in the launch of the first fleet of CNG (compressed natural gas) refuse trucks for a private hauler in south Florida. Choice Environmental Services rolled out a new fleet of CNG refuse trucks on Nov. 1, 2009 in Fort Lauderdale, becoming the first private waste hauler in south Florida to abandon diesel fuel for a portion of its operations in favor of cleaner-burning natural gas.^[1]
